Online Check-in

To board the flight after making a Volaris airline reservation, you must obtain a boarding card before takeoff. This is completed at the conclusion of the check-in procedure, which also includes receiving your seat assignment, making any special requests, and paying for your baggage. The airline offers a variety of ways for passengers to check in. Here are some of them:

  1. online check-in opens 24 hours prior to departure for international flights and 72 hours prior to departure for flights within Mexico. It is still open in both situations an hour before the trip to Mexico.
  2. The Volaris mobile application, which must be downloaded to your smartphone, is used for mobile check-in. Your smartphone app receives the boarding pass electronically. To board the flight, this might be presented at the airport. Please be aware that only a few airports offer mobile app check-in. You must therefore look up the airports that take it.
  3. Mexico-based check-ins can be made via Facebook Messenger using this method.
